Lake County District Court has dismissed the lawsuit Tekansik and Martinez v. Lake County.

In its March 20 order, the court found that the claims lacked sufficient factual and legal support and failed to state a claim upon which relief could be granted. Claims against former county commissioners were dismissed with prejudice.

Lake County remains committed to transparency, compliance with the Colorado Open Records Act, and responsible governance.
